Zenith Bank Driver Arrested with 19 GTBank Atm cards and N652,000 cash.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Dare Oladujoye, a driver with Zenith Bank, for allegedly being in possession of 19 Guaranty Trust Bank ATM cards and the sum of N652, 000.

The suspect was using the cards to withdraw money from an ATM at Ogba branch of GTB on July 26, 2012, around 8: pm. But for a security guard who raised the alarm, he would have been successful with his booty.

According to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Umar Manko, the suspect had withdrawn N652, 000 from the ATM by the time he was arrested.

The suspect is claiming that: “I usually loan people money and I’ve been doing it for over a year. Whenever I loan people money, I will collect their ATM cards and their Personal Identification Numbers. When they repay me, I return their cards to them.

“However, if they don’t pay me back in cash, I go to withdraw money from their accounts through the ATM.”

When quizzed on where he got the money which he lent people, he said he was into various kinds of businesses.

He also said he had friends in the banking sector who helped him with funds. He said, “I am a very hard working person. I joined Zenith Bank as a driver over three years ago and in less than a year, I bought a tricycle which I leased to another driver that gives me returns on a regular basis.

“The following year, I bought two tricycles bringing the total number to three. I make N150,000 monthly from the tricycles and N60,000 from my salary. I also get credit facilities through my connections in the banking sector.

“On the day I was arrested, I went to withdraw money on Thursday night with some of the cards when a security guard raised the alarm. I did not steal those cards. I know the owners of the cards and I have their numbers on my phone.”

Gunmen In Police Uniform Snatch Editor’s Car In Lagos

Armed robbers dressed in police uniform at about 10 p.m.on Sunday at gunpoint snatched a car from the Editor, Nigerian Compass newspaper, Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo.

The editor, who was in his Toyota Avensis car, 2008 model marked Ogun CP 11 AKM, was returning from his office on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when he ran into the road block mounted by the robbers in front of a new generation bank at Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

Narrating his ordeal in the hands of the bandits,  Akinadewo said, “I give glory to God Almighty for saving my life. I left church yesterday afternoon for my office in my white garment. I am a member of Cheribum and Seraphim Church.

“Immediately I was through with my schedule in the office, I took my leave. On my way home, I drove through the Business Club Road, near Femi Anikulapo’s Shrine and suddenly, four men blocked my way with their car. so I decided to go through Amaraolu Street linking the bank. As I approached the bank, I saw the four men again in police uniform in front of the bank. They flagged me with a torch light that I should stop. I did and greeted them thinking they were policemen.

“They asked me, ‘can we see your boot?’ As I got down to open the boot, one of them suddenly whispered to me, ‘we are not policemen. It is better for you not to shout. So, cooperate.’ Another one grabbed my car key and ordered me to sit at the back seat sandwiched by two of them. One drove my car and the last one sat in the front with the driver.

“Because of the white garment I wore, one of them asked me if I was a pastor. I said no. The same man saw my identity card and asked if I was a journalist. I said ‘yes’. Their leader reprimanded him saying, ‘keep quiet, why do you ask him questions?’ They took me in my car through Wempco Road to Oba Ogunji Road.

“As they were going, one of the robbers called somebody on phone and he said, ‘super, we got two, a SUV and a car. They are okay, they are neat.’ In the SUV, there were four other robbers also dressed in police uniform with the owner of the SUV at the back. The owner was wearing a lace material.

“They moved to Mobil, Stadium Road, Railway line in Agege and Abattoir. There, they told me to get down, that I must not make any noise. I quickly called the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko who immediately ordered police in Abattoir and others to organise search parties for the car. I later reported the matter at Pen Cinema Police Division. I finally got home at about 2 a.m. today.”

Akinadewo commended Manko for responding swiftly to his distress call.
He also thanked policemen who commenced the search for the car as early as they were called on phone by the police boss.

Items lost in the car include an unspecified amount of money, ipad 3, London train oyster card, FCMB mastercard, Nigerian Compass identity card, his driver’s licence, newspapers, purse and complimentary cards.

Man Marries his 13 Year Old Daughter After Wife’s Death

Things are happening everywhere.

A Bulawayo man has been arrested after he forced himself on his 13-year-old daughter whom he claimed to have married under the INSTRUCTION of his dead wife. The girl (name withheld) is a Grade six pupil at a primary school in Cowdry park.

It is reported that the man (name withheld to protect the identity of the minor) has ben staying with his daughter since his wife died in 2009. According to a source, sometime last month, the man allegedly had a dream of his wife ordering him to marry their daughter. The man then told some of his relatives about the ‘instruction’.

“they did not agree on what route to take as the issue was complex. Some of them were of the opinion that he adheres to the order while some dismissed it as unacceptable,” said the source.

Early this month, the man decided to obey the order and ‘married’ his daughter in a ceremony attended by his close confidantes.

“It was just a private ceremony. They bought food and drinks and held a small party. That was just about it and the young girl got married married to her father,” said the source.

Like what is expected of ‘married people’, the man thought it wise to get his daughter under his sheets. It is reported that on Tuesday last week, the man was sleeping in his bedroom while his daughter-cum-wife was in the sitting room watching television. He is said to have proceeded to the room and sate besides his ‘wife’.

The man then told his daughter/wife that it was time to indulge. Perhaps perplexed by the situation, the girl tried to get away from her father/husband. This was not taken kindly to by the man who forcibly pushed her to the floor and went on to force himself on her.

The girl then told a relative about her ordeal and was taken to the police station where a report was made, The man was arrested and found himself standing before Western Commonage magistrate facing rape charges. He shocked the magistrate, Mr Richard Ramaboea when he claimed that he was married to his daughter.

“I am married to her. She is my wife. I acted under the instructions of my dead wife, ” he said.

The man was, however, remanded in custody to 27 August.

So i eventually went with my guts and came up with an interesting topic “me !” I mean whats more interesting than yours sincerely :D
The initial title for this thing was supposed to be memoirs of an imperfect angel then i asked a friend of mine her opinion, she said it was a pretty  good one,but whats with the angel you are no angel! Lol! Sadly i had to accept that this is true! Then we considered silent storm which is something my mother used to call me a long time but right now i doubt that im still silent, the storm part might be correct so it would be more like a raging storm and we didnt want you thinking badly of me :D …so yes! We eventually settled for memoirs of the perfectly imperfect and well i think it sounds very much like me, imperfect girl imperfect world and mosty nothing is ever really perfect and thus perfectly imperfect (am i rambling yet?…lol) i dont have this thing called life figured out but you see i dont pretend to have all the answers im imperfect and comfortable with it.
Well!  Im a third yr student of The University of lagos, department of buillding (such struggle! By the way can u sense how proud i am of that name the ….”university of lagos”! Lol! let me be great! Even though i still cant wait to get out of here anyway, almost called it a shithole but No!) Female (p.s; not a unillag girl if u know what i mean,my sincere apologies to unilag girls)  well thats me in a nutshell, the rest youd probably (<—see! Im not promising anything, thus the use of the word probably) find out in my other posts
Before i go let me give you at least one  reason why you should read my write ups im not funny but i can find the funny in almost anything and everything,i think thats saying i have a sense of humour plus i think most my experiences would be /are relatable …i hope have been able to convince you!
And There u go!  My name is tamunotonye and these are the memoirs of the perfectly imperfect :D

Moral of this post: well go with ur guts,i just did ! …and yes! U know who I am now ;) !.
